| Applications for entry into the Cement Masons and Plasterers Local 21 Apprenticeship Committee's, 4000 hours (approximately four years) apprenticeship training program leading to journeyman status as a cement mason or plasterer, will be accepted during the first working Monday of each month. The recruitment, selection, employment, and training of apprentices shall be without discrimination based on race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, or disability. Apprentices must be at least 18 years of age, successfully complete a Ninth Grade Math evaluation test and be able to perform the assigned duties of the trade. Prior to admission into the program, all candidates are required to present verification of the highest academic grade completed and pass a pre-employment physical examination, which will include a drug test.
