| Description |
| Apprenticeships are available in the Des Moines, Fort Dodge, Mason City, Ottumwa, and Sioux City areas. The apprenticeship program is sponsored by the Joint Apprenticeship Committee, Local #33. Must be at least 18 years of age and submit reliable proof of birth date with completed application. Must have a diploma or GED certificate. Submit a transcript of high school grades directly to office.
The term of apprenticeship, including the probationary period, shall consist of five years of on-the-job training and 245 hours minimum of related training per year.
